COACHES CORNER
- Head coach Matt Sherman – "First off, credit to Penn State and the job they did today. They're a good team that played a good game and were deserving victors. I thought our performance was mixed. Our effort was really strong and there was no quit in our guys or lack of fight, but our precision was definitely off as we were tested for the first under real pressure. We weren't always composed: committing penalties in their half and not taking care of loose balls. I think it comes down to discipline of mind and discipline in decision, which can be summed up as composure. We've got to play with some fire in our hearts but with ice in our minds. We have to be able to play as hard as we played, but make sound decisions on the field."
