COACHES CORNER
" The weather yesterday forced the meet administration to make some adjustments and our people did a nice job of adapting and competed well. We won a few events and our most competitive people got one more hard effort in before we head off to Lexington next weekend to compete in the NCAA regional meet. We will learn on Wednesday who qualified and then see if we can get any qualifiers to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. I think we will get five into the preliminary round on the men's side. I also think that Abby Halbrook might make it in. She is on the bubble, but her performance at the West Point Twilight might be just enough to make it. Right now, we have to get ready for final exams and then we can focus more on the championships track meets."
UP NEXT: Qualified Cadets will travel to Lexington, Ky., for the NCAA Regionals on May 25-27.
