Cadets Fall on the Road at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Army men's tennis team hit the road Sunday afternoon for the first time this spring. The Black Knights (1-3) fell 7-0 to the Princeton Tigers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Princeton opened the match strong with two doubles victories at No. 1 and No. 2 to clinch the opening point.
- In the consolation match at No. 3, Alejandro Quiros and Diego Huttepain forced a tie-breaker against Poling/Peters, but came up just short, 7-6(7-1).
- Singles play was all Tigers, as Princeton won at courts 2, 5, and 6 in straight sets to clinch the victory.
- Duo gave the Tigers their fifth point with another straight sets win at No. 3.
- Poling followed with a win at No. 1 to put Princeton ahead 6-0.
- Freshman Nikita Larichev split the first two sets at No. 4, but dropped the tie-break, 10-3 to make it 7-0 Tigers at conclusion
