Army Falls to Clemson

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army West Point men's tennis fell to ACC power Clemson, 4-0 Sunday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
"We knew our early season schedule was going to challenge us, but we're getting better and definitely progressing," said Associate Head Coach Randy Rowley. "Particularly in our doubles play, we've been happy to see how guys like David Mitchell and David Gorshein have been playing together. We're all making strides."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clemson opened up with two wins at No.'s 2 and 1 doubles to take the opening match point.
- Army would drop courts 5, 3, 4 in straight sets to give the Tigers the clinch.
- In the remaining unfinished matches, the Black Knights had a chance to win all three, with Myles Conlin leading 6-3, 5-3 at No. 1 upon clinch.
