Head Coach Kevin Ward's Thoughts:
"We are leaving St. Louis with a bad taste in our mouths. A pretty disappointing way to end a season in which we overcame so much adversity and put ourselves in a great position heading into the NCAA tournament. Our athletes wanted more for themselves and we wanted more for them, but still there is so much to be proud of. No one knows the countless challenges that our team overcame this season and the adversity that we fought through. I know we can learn a lot from our experiences here at the NCAA tournament. We are leaving disappointed but even more motivated, committed and resolved to accomplish our goals."
