Men's Tennis Cap Off Undefeated Weekend

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point men's tennis team continued its undefeated run in the Patriot League, as the Black Knights took down Lehigh, 4-2 on Sunday at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
The win is the fifth straight overall for Army (7-1, 4-0), who impressed against a strong Mountain Hawk (3-2, 2-2) squad.
Army continued its exceptional doubles play to began the match. Diego Huttepain and Samuel Eden won 6-1 at No. 2, while Samuel Haikal and David Gorshein cruised to a 6-4 victory.
The momentum carried into singles action for the Black Knights. Samuel Eden made it 2-0 on the team score with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4.
After dropping No. 1, Huttepain finished strong at No. 2 with a 6-4, 7-5 victory to make it 3-1 Army.
Lehigh would take No. 5 to cut the deficit, but sophomore Thomas Lake would provide the clincher for the Black Knights with a 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 win.
