COACH'S CORNER
"I thought today was an important day for us," said head coach Alma Kovaci Lee. "We played a very good High Point team and they definitely scouted us well. We played very well at certain times but were not consistent enough. We took the lesson from that match and applied it to the Columbia match. We served tough, played better defense and were gritty. There is a lot of work to be done and we are excited about it. I love how Kai (Nickerson) is developing and Mackenzie (Karnig) is steady whenever we put her on the court. Looking forward to a great week of practice and already excited about the tough competition we will see next weekend!"
