Army Men’s Rugby Controls Game, Downs Bona 24-7

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Black Knights improved to 4-0 on the season with a convincing 24-7 victory over the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Sunday.

Game Summary
Army had four different scorers in the contest. The Black & Gold dictated play by winning possession from scrums and line-outs.

The Black Knights led 19-0 after 43 minutes of action. Army opened the scoring with a try by Maxwell Brown (11:36). As Army continued to mount pressure on St. Bonaventure's goal line, the Black Knights were awarded a penalty try (29:07) for a 12-0 advantage.

Shortly after the resume of play to start the second half, Adam Bazan scored a try followed by a conversion by Jonny Haley for a 19-0 lead. The Bonnies got on the scoreboard near the conclusion before Jack Simpson added his first try of the season in the last minutes of play.
