Army Rolls Past The Mount

EMMITSBURG, Md. – The Army West Point men's rugby team improved to 6-0 on the season after dispatching Mount St. Mary's, 34-0, on Saturday.

Game Summary
Senior wing Michael Amberg scored four tries in the game to lead the scoring. All four of the Naperville, Ill. native's tries came concurrently. He opened the scoring with 20 minutes left in the first half. The Black Knights, though, went into halftime only leading 5-0.

Amberg got the Black Knights on the board two minutes into the second half with his second try, and he added his third seven minutes later as Army built a 17-0 lead. Amberg's fourth and final try came at the 63:59 mark for a 22-0 lead.

Nathan Gould added Army's fifth try for a 27-0 lead with six minutes remaining. Pat Oglesbee scored the final try of the game and the Black Knights added the conversion to cap the scoring at 34-0.
