WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army Black Knights men's tennis team won its fourth straight match to remain unbeaten in Patriot League play with a 4-0 victory over Loyola Maryland on Sunday.
DOUBLES
The Black Knights won all three doubles matches, by the identical score of 6-2, to earn the point. The three doubles team of Nathan Jose and Jake Huarte finished their match in 20 minutes. In No. 1 doubles, Thomas Lake and A.J. Woodman completed their match next, and Diego Huttepain and Samuel Eden followed two minutes later.
SINGLES
Diego Huttepain made quick work of his opponent in one singles. He won the first set, 6-0, and won the second set 6-2. In No. 5 singles, Samuel Haikal beat Liam Rompere, 6-1, 6-2. Jake Huarte on the match for the Black Knights with a 6-1, 6-4 win in six singles.
