Black Knights Battle at Tropical 7's

TAMPA, Fla. --- Army West Point Women's Rugby finished the last day of the Tropical 7's Tournament with a combined record of 3-3, on Saturday.

Army Black finished the day 2-1 and placed second at the championship match of the tournament. The Black Knights opened day with a 19-0 win over the Celtic Barbarians and followed up with a dominant 37-0 win over Davenport. The Cadets fell in the finals to Rhinos Rugby U23W, 20-5.

Army Gold finished seventh in the tournament with a record of 1-2 on the day. The team fell to Queens 22-5 and Rock Rugby 21-17. The Cadets were able bounce back with a 30-0 victory over LIU to close out the day.
