METAIRIE, La. ---Army West Point Men's Rugby was dominant on the first day of the Collegiate Rugby 7s Championship, powering past Air Force in the opening game, 34-7, on Saturday afternoon.
Army had the lead over Air Force from the opening seven minutes, 10-7. In the second half, Army's stellar defensive efforts did not allow Air Force score in the seven-minute span. This allowed the Black Knights' offense to score 24 points to secure the 34-7 victory.
