Men's Tennis Falls to Boston University in Patriot League Semifinal

HAMILTON, NY - Army West Point men's tennis (19-12, 6-1 Patriot League) was defeated in the Patriot League semifinals 4-2 by Boston University (14-12, 4-2 Patriot League) on Saturday afternoon.

Army got off on the right foot with a pair of doubles victories to quickly jump ahead 1-0. Jake Huarte and Nathan Jose posted a 6-1 win on court three. while A.J. Woodman and Thomas Lake clinched the point with a 6-3 win on court one.

Woodman logged the lone singles victory for the Black Knights with a (6-3, 6-4) triumph on court one, as Army eventually lead 2-1 with four singles matches going a third set. The Black Knights were unable to pull through in the third set, as the Terriers won the next three to claim the 4-2 victory and advance to the Patriot League Championship.
