Wrestling Earns Road Win Over Bucknell, 18-15

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Army West Point wrestling team earned a hard fought conference win over Bucknell on Saturday night to move to 4-0 in EIWA competition.

The Black Knights jumped out to a 6-0 lead with a fall over from Charlie Farmer. Bucknell chipped away by winning the 133 division to make it 6-3, before tying things at 6-6 in 141. Matthew Williams got Army back on track with a 4-1 win in 149 to make it 9-6. Nate Lukez followed it up with a 5-1 win to push the Army lead to 12-6. Bucknell made it 12-9 before Ben Pasiuk made it a 15-9 advantage. Bucknell won the next two fights to even things back up at 15-15 going into the last fight of the day. Lucas Stoddard did exactly what Army needed, getting a 4-2 win to clinch the match.

Next up for the Black Knights is a return to Christl Arena to faceoff with Lehigh at 2 PM on Feb. 4.
