Women’s Tennis Posts Semifinalists at ITA Conference Masters Qualifiers

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Women's Tennis' posted semifinalists in both singles and doubles at the Patriot League ITA Conference Masters Qualifiers October 25-27.

In singles, both Cooper Jackson and Emma Sy advanced to the tournament semifinals, while the Black Knight doubles team of Jackson and Paige Herremans also reached the tournament semifinals.

The results are as follows.

Friday, October 25

Doubles
Cooper Jackson/Paige Herremans (Army) def. Amelia Galin/Sophia Montero (Colgate): 6-2

Singles
Cooper Jackson (Army) def. Lauren Manwiller (Loyola): 6-4, 7-6 (3)
Emma Sy (Army) def. Parvathi Shanker (Navy): 6-1, 6-1

Saturday, October 26

Doubles
Gabriella Mikaul/Uma Bakaiyte (Boston U.) def. Cooper Jackson/Paige Herremans (Army): 6-3

Singles
Cooper Jackson (Army) def. Sophia Montero (Colgate): 6-2, 6-3
Emma Sy (Army) def. Whitney King (Bucknell): 7-6 (0), 6-0
Emily Tannenbaum def. Cooper Jackson (Army): 6-3, 7-6 (1)
Uma Bakaiyte (Boston U.) def. Emma Sy (Army): 6-3, 7-5
