Post Meet Reactions
"I want to thank St. Bonaventure for coming out for the second year in a row! They are a quickly improving program, well coached, and bring energy with them when they come to Crandall!
We tried to have some fun tonight with a Halloween-themed meet. It was great to see some fans show up in costume - the atmosphere helped to create some extra energy that was fun to be a part of! It was great to see our men start out the meet with a win and new pool record in the 400 Medley Relay!
Overall, our team performed well tonight. We had some ups and downs, but that's normal for this time of year and with a number of our cadet-athletes dealing with sickness this week. Our team showed grit as they fought hard through their races and took advantage of each opportunity!
Our details continue to improve, though we still have a ways to go before we are ready to head down to Greensboro for the Wolfpack Elite Invite. Back to work tomorrow morning, GO ARMY!" – Director of Swimming & Diving Brandt Nigro
"Today's performance was solid and served as a great warm-up for the tougher competition ahead." – Head Diving Coach Connor Dorff
"This was a great conclusion to an extremely difficult week of training. I'm super proud of how the team rallied together and built up some really solid momentum going into the NC State Invite." - Joey Kling
"Today marked a great opportunity for practicing a confident competition mindset, as this meet was our last dual meet before Navy. I'm proud of how far our team has come, being comfortable with competing dives we feel uncomfortable with. These next couple of weeks will give us quality time to focus on fine-tuning our dives!" - Minh Donnell
"St. Bonaventure brought great energy and pushed us to be better tonight. Mid-season is always challenging because we are tired and have working hard in practice, but we still had great swims! Constantly pushing ourselves to be the best is one of the reasons why I love the team!" - Jenna Hart
