ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Army West Point Women's Tennis dropped Saturday's Star Match at Navy, 4-2.

The Black Knights took the doubles point at Tose Family Tennis Center, with Julia Kelly and Jenna Sabile overcoming a 4-1 tiebreak deficit in the decisive No. 2 doubles match. Paige Herremans and Cooper Jackson also won 6-1 on the No. 1 doubles court.

In singles, Army fell in each of the first three matches by order of finish. On court No. 3, Ylan Duong prevailed in three sets to give the Black Knights a path to victory in the No. 4 and 5 matches, before Emma Sy dropped a third set to end the team match on court No. 4.

Navy takes a 10-9-1 lead in the Star Series presented by USAA.

Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Men's Tennis and Baseball remain in the series, with the Outdoor Track & Field Star Meet next up in the series April 6 at West Point.
