Women’s Rugby Unveils 2024-25 Fall Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Women's Rugby and Head Coach Bill Leclerc announced Monday the squad's fall slate for the 2024-25 season. The team will compete in ten regular season 15s matches from August through November.
The Black Knights will prepare for their season with an exhibition matchup against Xavier at the Anderson Rugby Complex on Wednesday, Aug. 21st before opening their 2024-25 season on the road at Dartmouth on Saturday, Aug. 31st.
Army's squad will then host Mount St. Mary's on Sept. 8th to celebrate the squad's Senior Day before heading out once more for a match in Michigan as they travel to Grand Rapids to face Davenport on Sept. 14th.
The Black Knights then return home to welcome Oxford's women's rugby team to the Anderson Rugby Complex for a non-conference matchup on Sept. 25th.
The squad will resume National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) play on Oct. 4th when they head to Fairfield, Conn. to take on Sacred Heart before taking on Queens (N.C.) in a neutral site matchup in Annapolis, Md. at Navy's Prusmack Rugby Center on Oct. 12th.
Army will remain on the road for the next three matches as the squad travels to Quinnipiac for a match on Oct. 19th before heading to Brown on Oct. 27th, finally wrapping up their regular season road matches on Nov. 2nd with the second annual Star Match as part of the ongoing Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA at Navy at the Prusmack Rugby Center.
The Black Knights will conclude their 2024-25 fall schedule on Nov. 8th as the team returns home to take on LIU in an evening matchup set for 6:00pm.
