Men’s Tennis Has Strong Weekend at Commander-in-Chief’s Tennis Challenge

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Army West Point men's tennis team had a strong weekend at the Commander-in-Chief's Tennis Challenge at the Army Navy Country Club, competing against Georgetown, Navy and Air Force in singles and doubles matches.

Against Georgetown on Friday, Army lost the doubles point but won four of the six singles matches. The Black Knights battled against Navy on Saturday, claiming the doubles point and dominating the singles portion of the match. Army won five of six singles contests over the Midshipman.

In the final match of the weekend Army battled against Air Force. The Black Knights won the doubles point but dropped all six singles matches.

"It was an amazing weekend of tennis, but just as important, it gave the cadets an opportunity to experience Washington D.C., and all it has to offer. It is a city for potential job opportunities and a good chance to spend time with parents and old graduates.
