October 21, 2025 | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball
WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army basketball will take the national stage five times in the 2025-26 season, with three men's basketball games and two women's basketball matchups getting picked up by CBS Sports Network.
The five games include Army men's basketball Veteran's Day matchup against Duke on November 11 and both Army-Navy men's and women's basketball doubleheaders on January 24 and February 21.
First, Army men's basketball will take on Duke on Nov. 11, with the game scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET first tip.
The game marks just the third time in program history—and the first time in 28 years—that the Black Knights have hosted a Power Five opponent at West Point. The first came against LSU on Dec. 21, 1978. The second was against Duke on Nov. 16, 1997.
Army basketball takes the national stage again on January 24 in Annapolis, Maryland, inside Alumni Hall for the first Army-Navy basketball doubleheader of the season, with women's basketball scheduled for an 11:00 a.m. ET, and men's basketball to follow suit at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Finally, the biggest rivalry in sports takes center stage for the second time in West Point inside Christl Arena on February 21, with both teams battling in their respective Star Games, which are part of the Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA.
Women's basketball will tip off at 11 a.m. ET. Men's basketball will follow at 1:30 p.m. ET.
The last time the Star Game for both teams was held in Christl Arena was on Feb. 10, 2024. On that day, both men's and women's basketball took Star wins over Navy. Women's basketball defeated the Mids, 70-58. Men's basketball won a thrilling 69-67 game in overtime against its rival.
Led by first-year head coach Katie Kuester, the women's team will look to continue its dominance over Navy. The Black Knights won both matchups last season and have won the last seven meetings against the Midshipmen.
Men's basketball will aim for their first win against Navy since the Feb. 10, 2024 Star Game win. Last season, Army fell in both tightly contested matchups against the Midshipmen.
The Patriot League also announced there will be two men's basketball flex games, with the first on Sunday, Feb. 22. The second flex game will be the final day of the Patriot League men's basketball regular season on Saturday, Feb. 28. The selection of flex contests will be made no later than 10 days before the competition date.
Last season, Army men's basketball's matchup at Bucknell on Feb. 23, 2025, was picked up as one of the CBS Sports Network flex games. The game marked the third time Army men's basketball played a game that was aired on CBS Sports Network in the 2024-25 season.
The Patriot League is now in its 23rd consecutive year in partnership with CBS Sports Network, which is widely available through all major cable, satellite, and telco distributors as well as via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV, and Hulu. Additionally, a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App by authenticating with select providers.
