Volleyball's Mackenzie Lynch Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Senior outside hitter Mackenzie Lynch received her first Patriot League weekly honor on Tuesday, being named Patriot League Player of the Week.
The senior earns the weekly honor for the first time this season, but for the first time in her career. Lynch adds to her list of Patriot League honors after being named to the 2024 All-League First Team and to the 2025 Preseason All-League Team.
Lynch led Army's hitting to a win over Loyola Maryland, its only game last week. She finished the game with two personal season-highs, 22 kills and a .410 hitting percentage, in four sets.
The 22 kills mark the most kills an Army player has earned in a match this season and also the second most kills Lynch has earned in a game in her career. Lynch also added nine digs and one block.
Lynch and the Black Knights are back in action on Saturday, October 25 at 4 p.m. ET, taking on the Colgate University Raiders inside Gillis Field House.
