Women’s Tennis’ Brilliant, Smith Conclude ITA Conference Masters Play

SAN DIEGO – Army West Point women's tennis' Isabella Brilliant and Madison Smith's doubles run at the ITA Conference Masters came to an end Friday evening, but not without a fight.
They took top-seeded Melodie Collard and Vivian Yang of Virginia to a super tiebreak, but fell 6-7 (4), 6-2 [10-4].
The close defeat came one day after knocking off Alabama State's Melisa Mekic and Diana Craciun 6-2, 7-5.
Brilliant and Smith made the event by way of winning the Patriot League ITA Masters Qualifier Oct. 24-26.
The Conference Masters match concludes the fall 2025 campaign for the Black Knights as well as Brilliant and Smith. The pair finished 14-2 in doubles during the fall campaign.
