BINGHAMTON, NY - Army West Point men's tennis (4-4, 0-1 Patriot League) rallied to defeat Binghamton (4-6, 1-1 America East) by a score of 4-3 on the road on Saturday afternoon.
Daniel Choi had the clinching point at flight six with the match tied up at four to propel Army to the victory.
After dropping the doubles point, Army fell behind 2-0 overall before Jackson Armistead got Army on the board at flight one with a convincing 7-5, 6-2 victory. Matías Feoli then secured his win on court five in straight sets, defeating his opponent 6-3, 6-3.
Jack Hanna put the Black Knights into the lead at 3-2 with a (6-3, 6-4) triumph at flight four, with Army dropping another match to set up Choi on court six with the game-clinching decision. After winning the first set 6-1 and then dropping the second by a 6-4 line, Choi got a break with the third set knotted at 4-4 and then held serve to give the Black Knights the win on the road.
