Reilly & Duffy Take Home Patriot League Weekly Women's Lacrosse Honors

BETHLEHEM, PA - Army West Point women's lacrosse juniors Allison Reilly and Brigid Duffy each took home weekly accolades from the Patriot League, announced today by the league.
Reilly was named the league's attacker of the week while Duffy was named midfielder of the week after the duo helped lead Army to an 18-10 win at Fairfield and an 18-10 victory over Boston University in the conference opener.
Duffy tallied 12 goals, three assists, 13 draw controls, six ground balls and four caused turnovers across both games this week. She matched her career-high with seven goals in the 18-10 win at Fairfield, adding six draw controls as Duffy notched five goals in the second quarter alone. She chipped in two caused turnovers and ground balls defensively. Returning for the conference opener, Duffy deposited five goals against the Terriers to go along with seven draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Securing her 224th career draw control gave her a new program record in the process while matching the program record with her 99th career ground ball. Duffy continues to lead the Patriot League in goals per game, points per game and ground balls per game and is second in caused turnovers per game.

Reilly registered seven goals, seven assists and seven draw controls across both contests. She logged a game-high nine points at Fairfield including six assists to go along with three goals. She added three draw controls and a caused turnover while seeing her first action on the draw team. Returning against Boston, Reilly posted four goals and an assist to go along with a career-high four draw controls and a ground ball. Reilly's 5.5 points per game ranks fourth in the conference.
