Army West Point Athletics

From the Desk of AD #31
April 17, 2025 | General
Let me begin by congratulating everyone on an incredible achievement—BEATING Navy and capturing the Army-Navy Star Series (Presented by USAA) for the first time since the 2013-14 season. What a momentous victory! Take a moment to soak it in and celebrate—this is something truly special.
This success is a direct reflection of the hard work, dedication, and passion of our head coaches, staff, and cadet-athletes. You've all played a key role in building the culture that made this possible.
I couldn't be prouder of this group. Let's keep this momentum going—onward and upward!

Introductory Press Conference
I was incredibly humbled and honored to be formally introduced and welcomed into the role of serving as the 31st Athletic Director on Monday, April 14, by Superintendent Lt. General Steven W. Gilland and the Chairman of the Board of the AWPAA, Corky Messner. It is still surreal that I am in this position, and I am so fortunate to be surrounded by the best leaders, teammates, and support staff at West Point.Â

Back to SchoolTo better understand the demands our cadet-athletes go through and the excellence they strive for in the classroom, I recently stopped by a class led by Col. Hill. Col. Hill serves as the Men's Basketball team's officer representative, as I observed him teach  MC 300 - Fundamentals of Engineering Mechanics and Design.
