Hardy Named to All-Met Third Team

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point senior Trinty Hardy has been named to the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Third Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Hardy, a native of Winter Haven, Florida, led the Black Knights in several statistical categories, averaging 13.4 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. One of her most notable improvements came from beyond the arc, where she shot 31.6% (30 of 95) after making just five 3-pointers last season.
She was also named to the All-Patriot League First Team and the league's All-Defensive Team.
Hardy is the first Army women's player to earn All-Met honors since Madison Hovren was named to the first team in 2017-18.
She was one of eight Patriot League players to average more than 13.0 points per game and ranked second in the league in steals per game.
