Fournier, Mazur, Fellows Named to 2025 Patriot League All-Academic Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – No. 4 Army West Point men's lacrosse (12-1, 7-1 Patriot League) saw three of its team members earn a place on the Patriot League All-Academic Team after standout performances on the field and in the classroom. Gunnar Fellows, Christian Fournier, and Christian Mazur represented the Black Knights on the 2025 All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA, at least a sophomore academically, and be a starter or key player in their sport.
Gunnar Fellows | Junior | Highlands Ranch, Colo. | Applied Statistics and Data Science
Fellows has had a standout junior campaign with the Black Knights while pursuing his degree in Applied Statistics and Data Science. The Highlands Ranch, Colo., native has earned career bests in goals (31), assists (14), and points (45). Fellows currently stands third on the team in total goals, third on the team in total points, and tied for fourth on the team in total assists this season. One of Army's top attackers this season, Fellows has helped Army outscore its opponents with 186 goals to their opponents' 89 and 130 assists to their opponents' 56.
Christian Fournier | Senior | Austin, Texas | Kinesiology
Fournier, a 2025 First Team All-Patriot League selection, has been a reliable presence in the midfield for the Black Knights while pursuing his degree in Kinesiology. Fournier has been a force as one of Army's long-stick midfielders, tallying a team-high 32 caused turnovers to rank third in the nation for caused turnovers per game at 2.67. A Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week selection, Fournier created opportunities for the Black Knights to score, picking up a team-second 48 ground balls while also scoring two goals and logging five assists of his own. With Fournier's input, Army has caused 131 turnovers for its opponents compared to the 97 caused turnovers against Army. On top of his athletic achievements, Fournier has been a dedicated scholar this season and will attend the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas after graduation.
Christian Mazur | Senior | Media, Pa. | Computer Science
Mazur, a 2025 First Team All-Patriot League selection, appeared in 12 of Army's 13 games this season while pursuing his degree in Computer Science. As a short-stick defensive midfielder for the Black Knights, Mazur helped Army confound its opponents this season, outscoring its foes with 316 points to 145. Mazur tallied career highs in goals (two), assists (four), points (six), and caused turnovers (11) this season. With Mazur's input in the midfield, the Black Knights dominated in the netural zone, picking up 454 ground balls to its opponents' 357, racking up 131 caused turnovers to its opponents' 97, and earning 294 clears to its opponents' 268.
