Eicher, Fournier, Mazur Named 2025 Nike Lacrosse Media First Team All-Americans, Six Black Knights Recognized in Total

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Inside Lacrosse announced its 2025 Nike Lacrosse Media All-Americans on Wednesday, recognizing the top players in the country in 2025. Army West Point men's lacrosse saw six players selected across the honored teams, including three on the First Team.
Seniors Jackson Eicher (attack), Christian Mazur (short-stick defensive midfielder), and Christian Fournier (long-stick midfielder) were named to the First Team. Defender AJ Pilate earned Second Team honors while goalkeeper Sean Byrne and midfielder Evan Plunkett were named to the Third Team.
Eicher, a 2025 USA Lacrosse First Team All-American, was a dominant offensive force for the Black Knights, is a 2025 finalist for the Tewaaraton Award, which is presented annually to the nation's top male and female collegiate lacrosse player. The Warrenton, Va. native averaged 3.86 goals and 6.07 points per game, both ranking second in the nation. He set a new program record with 54 goals this season and moved into the top 20 of Army's all-time scoring list with 147 career points. He also ranks in the top 20 for career goals (95) and is tied for second in program history for points in a season (85).
Mazur, a recent third-round PLL draft pick by the Maryland Whipsnakes and a 2025 USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American, earned his first All-Patriot League honor this season, being named to the First Team. The Media, Pa., native collected 17 ground balls, caused 11 turnovers, and recorded a career-best six points (two goals, four assists), contributing on both ends of the field.
Fournier, also a 2025 First Team All-Patriot League honoree and USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American,, was a steady presence in the midfield, leading the team with 37 caused turnovers. His 2.54 caused turnovers per game ranked third nationally.
Pilate, a USA Lacrosse First Team All-American, continued his defensive dominance, earning his third consecutive Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year award and his fourth straight All-Patriot League selection. He anchored a defense that led the nation in both fewest goals allowed per game (7.50) and scoring margin (6.71).
Byrne, a junior goalkeeper, was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year and earned First Team All-Patriot League honors as well as a USA Lacrosse Third Team All-American selection last week. The Acworth, Ga., native led the country in both save percentage (.607) and goals-against average (7.50) for much of the season. He made 147 saves and allowed just 95 goals, guiding the Black Knights to a national-best scoring defense (7.50 goals allowed per game) and top scoring margin (6.71).
Plunkett, a USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American, contributed 14 goals towards 30 points on the season, ranking fourth on the team in each category, as well as picking up 16 assists, tied for the second most on the squad.
