May 16, 2025 | Women's Lacrosse
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's lacrosse juniors Brigid Duffy and Allison Reilly were named to IWLCA All-Region Teams as announced by Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Associate (IWLCA) on Friday morning. Duffy was named to the IWLCA Northeast Region First Team, and Reilly was named to the IWLCA Northeast Region Second Team. Additionally, Duffy and Reilly were named to 2025 Nike Lacrosse Media All-America Teams. Duffy was named to the second team, while fellow classmate Reilly was named as an honorable mention.
This is the second and third end of season awards for both Duffy and Reilly, following their selection to the US Lacrosse All-American teams last week.
Duffy made program history again, after being named first First-Team USA Lacrosse All-American in program history last week, as the first Black Knight to be named to a first-team IWLCA All-Region Team as well as the first Nike Lacrosse Media Second-Team All-American in program history.
Brigid Duffy/Junior/Queensbury, N.Y.
Duffy finished her junior campaign, leading all Army scorers with 64 goals, a new program single-season goal record. The Queensbury, N.Y. native is first in program history in goals (182) and points (262). This is her third consecutive IWLCA All-Region Selection for the junior midfielder after being named to the second twice in her first two seasons at Army. Duffy is currently second in the Patriot League in goals per game, caused turnovers per game and ground balls per game while being third in points per game, plus fifth in draw controls per game. Duffy was named first-team All-Patriot League, an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American, a first-team US Lacrosse All-American, and a Top-25 finalist for the Tewaaraton Award. She makes history for the Black Knights as the first ever First-Team IWLCA All-Region selection and first Nike Lacrosse Media All-America second team selection in program history.
Allison Reilly/Junior/Sayville, N.Y.
Reilly led all Army players in points with 102. Her 102 points rank eighth in the country and fourth in the country in points per game. The Sayville, N.Y. native ranks first in Army history in single season points and second overall in career points behind classmate Duffy. The attacker earned first-team all-league honors and won five straight Patriot League Attacker of the Week Awards from March to April, in total, six. For Reilly, this is her first IWLCA All-Region and Nike Lacrosse All-America selection in her career and the third consecutive season in which the Army has had an IWLCA second-team Northeast selection.
