Army West Point Athletics Announces Staff Promotions

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Athletics is pleased to announce the promotions of three staff members whose leadership and dedication continue to advance the department's mission of developing leaders of character through athletic competition.
"These promotions and the broader departmental restructuring reflect our deep commitment to fostering and celebrating leadership within our organization," said Tom Theodorakis, Director of Athletics. "Each of these individuals exemplifies the character, dedication, and vision that drive our mission forward for Army West Point Athletics."
Nate Erickson has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director, Compliance. Erickson joined Army West Point in April 2024 and has brought significant experience in NCAA compliance, having previously served as Director of Compliance at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. His responsibilities there included oversight of recruiting operations, eligibility certification, National Letter of Intent processes, and NIL and Alston-related policy development. Erickson also held compliance roles at the University of Cincinnati. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he holds a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati.
Mike Richard has been elevated to Associate Athletics Director, Revenue Strategy. Since joining Army West Point Athletics in 2013, Richard has been instrumental in driving marketing and revenue initiatives across the department. He has led successful efforts such as the annual Army-Navy uniform campaign in partnership with Nike and has built the department's digital marketing infrastructure. In his new role, he continues to oversee ticketing, social, and digital marketing efforts. Originally from New Boston, N.H., Richard holds degrees from the University of New England and the University of Louisville.
Scott Robson has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director, Sport Administration. Robson is entering his 18th season at Army West Point, having first joined the department in 2008 through the marketing office. Most recently, he served as Associate Athletics Director – Business Development & Revenue Generation. In his new role, he will continue supporting the strategic oversight and operations of Army's sport programs. A native of Tampa, Fla., Robson is a graduate of Boston University and the University of San Francisco, where he also competed in rugby.
