WEST POINT, N.Y. — Mikayla Cheney, Zoe Eggleston, Emily Fink, Jordan Hecht and Charlotte Richman were selected as members of the Patriot League Academic All-League Team.
The five honorees are a part of the 21-member team, with Army West Point contributing the most members on the Academic All-League Team this season alongside Boston University, which also had five honorees.
The five also won the honor after helping guide the Black Knights to their first Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championship title for the first time in 16 years.
Voting for the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Women's Academic All-Patriot League Team is conducted by the League women's outdoor track and field sports information directors.
To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and be a key player in their sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.
Cheney, Fink, Hecht and Richman all earned their second academic honor of the season, with all four being named to the Indoor Track and Field Women's Academic Team in March.
Mikayla Cheney, a sophomore distance runner from New Castle, Colorado, earned her second academic award by finishing second in the 1500m run at the Patriot League Championships.
Zoe Eggleston, a senior multis athlete and team captain from Whitehall, New York, earns her first academic honor of the 2025 season.
The senior claimed her first Patriot League title in the heptathlon with 5056 total points. Highlights from Eggleston's victory include finishing first in the 200m dash, first in the 800m run, and second in the 100m hurdles.
