WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point cross country has released its full schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, as announced by Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Mike Smith.
The Black Knights kick things off on Aug. 29 as they travel to Bangor, Maine to take on Maine in a dual. Last season, both teams impressed in the same event, as the women's side won 19-40 while the men's squad came away with a 26-29 victory.
Army's schedule continues with just one event in September, competing in the Iona Meet of Champions on Sept. 12 in Van Cortlandt Park, N.Y. Both the men's and women's side recorded second-place finishes, while Louisa Diamond won the women's event with a time of 18:10.8.
The month of October will see Army compete in three separate events, including its lone home meet of the season. The Black Knights kick things off with the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 3 hosted by Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa. The Black Knights then travel south to compete in the NJIT Highlander Invite in Newark, N.J., on Oct. 11.
For the first time since 2023, the Star Meet against Navy will be hosted by the Black Knights and will conclude the program's regular season. Last year the women's side came away with a 20-35 victory over Navy in Annapolis, Md.
Postseason action gets underway with the Patriot League Championships on Oct. 31 in Bethlehem, where the women's side will look for its third-consecutive championship. Last year, the men's team finished second.
The NCAA Northeast Regional Championships will take place on Nov. 14 in Concord, N.H., while the NCAA Championships will be on Nov. 22 in Columbia, Mo.
