Henry Earns First Patriot League Weekly Award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's soccer freshman Sophia Henry earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week, after scoring the first two goals of her collegiate career.
Henry appeared and started in her first two games at the collegiate level against Providence on Aug. 14 and Manhattan on Aug. 17, playing significant minutes for the Black Knights. She played a pivotal factor in Army's first victory of the season, recording her first career brace. Additionally, she finished with four points and recorded the game-winning goal in the 4-1 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers. For the Black Knights, Henry's two goals are the first multi-goal game since Kaelan Bradley scored two goals against American on Sept. 20, 2024.
