Women’s Basketball Announces 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule
September 04, 2025 | Women's Basketball
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Women's Basketball first-year head coach Katie Kuester released the 2025-26 non-conference schedule on Thursday, which is highlighted by a trip to the Pacific Northwest to take on Big Ten foe Oregon in November.
"We are beyond excited about the challenging non-conference slate ahead of us! These games are going to push us from the get-go, and that's exactly what we need to get ourselves prepared for conference play," Kuester said. "We'll be facing multiple teams that competed in postseason tournaments last year, which is an incredible opportunity to test ourselves against some of the best. Our team is connected, hungry and ready to rise to the occasion together."
Army, which is coming off a 25-win season and a trip to the Patriot League Championship game, will open the Kuester era at home on Monday, Nov. 3 against Pace in Christl Arena. The Black Knights first road game will bring them to St. Paul, Minn., where they will take on St. Thomas as part of a doubleheader with the men's team on Nov. 8.
Following a Nov. 13 game against Siena at home, West Point will travel across the country to take on Oregon on Sunday, Nov. 16 at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. The Ducks earned an at-large bid in the 2025 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament and knocked off No. 7 Vanderbilt in the First Round before falling to No. 2 Duke. Army senior guard Reese Ericson is a native of Lake Oswego, Ore., which is just under two hours north of the Oregon campus.
The Black Knights return home on Nov. 20 to take on New Hampshire before quickly hitting the road for a trip to Loretto, Pa., for a matchup against St. Francis.
Army will take a one week pause from play to celebrate Thanksgiving before resuming action on Saturday, Nov. 29 on the road against Eastern Kentucky.
The month of December will see Army travel to St. Peters on Dec. 3 before welcoming UMass to Christl Arena on Saturday Dec. 6. Kuester's squad will travel to Ithaca, N.Y., to battle against Cornell for their final road test before conference play begins.
The non-conference slate will wrap up on Dec. 29, as the Black Knights will host Howard for a noon tipoff in Christl Arena.
Full 2025-26 ticket information will be available with the release of the Patriot League schedule.
