Men's Rugby Returns Home for Friday Night Clash With Mount St. Mary's (Md.)

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point men's rugby returns home on Friday night to continue its Rugby East conference slate when they take on Mount St. Mary's (Md.). Kickoff from Anderson Rugby Complex is set for 5:00 p.m.
The Black Knights enter the fixture commanding a 4-1 overall record this season, with a 1-1 mark against Rugby East opponents. Mount Saint Mary's heads into the contest with a 1-2 overall record, also holding a 1-1 record in Rugby East action.
Last weekend, Army picked up its first conference win of the season with a 43-8 performance at Penn State. The Black Knights exploded for 36 points in the second half, after holding a narrow four-point lead at the half. Porter Kuebler paced the offense with 15 points from three tries, followed by Nick Trout with a 13-point effort.
Trout leads the Black Knights with 70 points this season on 31 conversions, one try, and a penalty. Kuebler and Howie Heller lead the team in tries with seven and six tries, respectively.
Army heads back on the road next weekend when they take on Rugby East foe Southern Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 17.
