CRAA D1A Playoffs Bracket Released
March 30, 2026 | Men's Rugby
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Army West Point men's rugby will face the Arkansas State Red Wolves to open the CRAA D1A Playoffs on April 10.
The match will take place at Anderson Rugby Complex, serving as the Round of 16 fixture. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
Army earned the No. 4-seed in the East Region, with Arkansas State drawing the No. 5-seed.
The winner of that match will take on the winner of the match between top-seeded Navy and Mary Washington, with that quarterfinal being hosted by the higher seed.
The national championship game is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, at Kuntz Memorial Stadium in Indianapolis.
Army went 9-3 over the 2025-26 regular season, with a 4-2 mark vs. Rugby East opponents. The season was highlighted by a five-match winning streak in the fall campaign, a Cannon Cup win over Guelph with matches to bookend the regular season, and an academy win at Air Force on October 31.
A season ago, the Black Knights won their Round of 16 match vs. Mount St. Mary's (MD) before dropping a close 18-17 decision to perennial power Life University in the quarterfinals.
Army assistant coaches Jake Mizell and Danny Breda are alums of the Red Wolves' program.
