Nine Black Knights Earn Indoor Track and Field Academic All-Patriot League

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Nine Black Knights were named to the Patriot League Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Academic All-Patriot League Teams, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Named to the women's team was Mikayla Cheney, Jordan Hecht, Faith Kibbe, Claire Lewis and Charlotte Richman. On the men's side, Jaxon Hammond, Maximus Haynia, Owen Lang and Matthew Palchak received the honor.

All nine of these athletes have GPA's greater than 3.20 and earned at least one top three finish at last weekend's Patriot League championships.

"Our women's and men's Academic All-Patriot League recipients represent some of the strongest performers on our track and field team," said Director of Track and Field Mike Smith. "They come from a range of event groups and class years, yet they share a common standard of excellence. This award honors cadet-athletes who demonstrate an exceptional balance of academic achievement and athletic performance. We expect our cadet-athletes to excel in every aspect of their cadet experience, and these awardees embody that commitment."
