Men’s Tennis Falls 4-1 in Star Match

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Army West Point men's tennis team fell 4-1 to Navy in the Star Match – part of the Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA – on Saturday afternoon at the USNA Tennis Courts.
Army (17-10, 5-1) just couldn't find its rhythm on Saturday afternoon, falling in the doubles portion and recording just one singles win.
Navy (24-17, 6-1) recorded a pair of 6-1 wins at No. 2 and 3 in doubles to take the early 1-0 advantage. The Mids doubled their lead with a singles win at No. 6 to go ahead 2-0.
Jimin Jung got Army on the board with a 6-0, 1-6, 6-2 victory in the second singles spot. The win marked Jung's 10th of the season.
Navy would close out the match with wins at No. 5 and 3 to win the star.
The remaining matches went unfinished.
