Men’s Rugby Announces Fall 2026 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Men's Rugby head coach Matt Sherman has announced the 2026 Fall Schedule.
The Black Knights have nine contests scheduled for the fall, with five of them to be played at Anderson Rugby Complex. Five Rugby East matches are also on the schedule.
Getting the season underway, Army hosts Queens (N.C.) at home on Saturday, Aug. 29 in their opener.
The following Saturday, on Sept. 5, the Black Knights head northward across the border into Ontario to play the Guelph in "The Royal City" for the first leg of the Cannon Cup.
On Friday, Sept. 11, Army returns stateside to the banks of the Hudson to host St. Thomas (Fla.).
Two weeks later, the Black Knights head down to Annapolis, Maryland for the Army-Navy game on Saturday, Sept. 26, with the fixture at Prusmack Rugby Complex part of the Star Series presented by USAA.
Staying on the road, a trip to State College, Pa. awaits the Black Knights on Saturday, Oct. 3, to play the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Army comes back home on Saturday, Oct. 10, for their third consecutive Rugby East match against Mount St. Mary's (Md.). Then, on Saturday, Oct. 17, the Black Knights head to the gateway of the Shenandoah Valley to take on Southern Virginia, in Buena Vista, Va.
Army then returns to West Point on Friday, Oct. 30, to matchup with Mary Washington on the eve of Halloween.
Finally on Saturday, November 14, the Black Knights host Life University for the last match at Anderson Rugby Complex of the Fall.
Army went 10-4 a season ago, with a win at academy rival Air Force on Oct. 31. The Black Knights made the CRAA D1A Quarterfinals for the second consecutive season.
The 2027 spring portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date.
