Army West Point legend Kelsey Minato also set to be interviewed during the event
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point men's basketball head coach Kevin Kuwik and women's basketball head coach Katie Kuester will preview the 2026-27 season during the Patriot League Men's and Women's Basketball Media Day on Monday, October 5. The League has partnered with The Field of 68 for the first time to stream the event.
Kuwik is scheduled to go on at 9:20 a.m., and Kuester will follow at 12:25 p.m. Fans can watch live on The Field of 68's YouTube page or follow along on X at @TheFieldOf68.
Army West Point legend Kelsey Minato and Patriot League Commissioner Jennifer Heppel will also be interviewed during the event.
Men's Media Day | 9–11:35 a.m.
Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster host the men's portion. They are veteran national college basketball writers and the founders of The Field of 68. The duo will preview the Patriot League season and talk with all 10 of the League's head coaches.
Women's Media Day | 12:10–2:40 p.m.
Talia Goodman, who covers women's basketball for On3 and Rivals, and Paige Messier, the Patriot League's multimedia journalist, lead the women's coverage. They will interview all 10 head coaches and preview the season.
Looking Ahead
The 2026-27 college basketball season tips off Monday, November 2, when the men travel to Cameron Indoor Stadium in North Carolina to face the historic ACC program, Duke Blue Devils. The women will play an exhibition against the 2025 National Champions, UConn, before kicking off non-conference play at home against St. Thomas Aquinas on November 2.
All Army home games will stream on ESPN+, and select Patriot League games will air on CBS Sports Network. Both Black Knights teams open Patriot League play on Wednesday, December 30.
The Patriot League Women's Basketball Championship starts March 1, and the title game is Tuesday, March 9. The men's tournament starts March 2, and its championship game is Wednesday, March 10. The higher seeds host every round of both tournaments.
