Men's Basketball Unveils 2026-27 Patriot League Slate

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point men's basketball released its Patriot League schedule for the 2026-27 season on Thursday.
"I am excited about the overall schedule as it will provide our young men some great opportunities in both the non-conference and conference portions to showcase all the hard work they have put in since last April," Lee Anderson Head Men's Basketball Coach Kevin Kuwik said. "We are ultimately graded on our performance in Patriot League play, and as usual this year's slate will provide us with plenty of challenges. I know that our Firstie captains Ryan Curry and Tate Laczkowski will have our guys ready to step up."
Kuwik enters his fourth season at the helm for the Black Knights, with the team hoping to improve on the 11 wins earned in the 2025-26 season, including two wins against eventual Patriot League Tournament champion Lehigh University Mountain Hawks.
Last season, the Black Knights finished as the ninth-place team in the Patriot League standings, ultimately falling in the first round of the Patriot League Tournament against the Bucknell University Bison.

Full Schedule Breakdown:
The Black Knights begin their Patriot League journey on the road, playing their first two league games away from West Point. Army opens conference play on Dec. 30 in Worcester, Mass., taking on the Holy Cross Crusaders.
To ring in 2027, the Black Knights head to Baltimore, Md., on Jan. 2 for their first matchup of the season against the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds.
Army returns to West Point for its Patriot League home opener on Jan. 6, welcoming the Lehigh Mountain Hawks to Christl Arena.
The Black Knights head back on the road on Jan. 9, traveling to Hamilton, N.Y., for their first matchup of the season against the Colgate Raiders.
Following the trip to Colgate, Army returns to Christl Arena for back-to-back home games. The homestand begins on Jan. 13 against the Bucknell Bison before the Black Knights welcome the Lafayette Leopards to West Point on Jan. 17.
Army makes the return trip to Bethlehem, Pa., and Stabler Arena on Jan. 20 to face Lehigh for the second and final time during the regular season. Through Kuwik's tenure, the Black Knights are 3-0 in games played inside Stabler Arena.
The Black Knights then return to West Point for another two-game homestand, beginning with their first rivalry matchup of the season against the Navy Midshipmen on Jan. 23. Army remains at Christl Arena on Jan. 27 for its regular-season rematch against Holy Cross.
Kuwik's squad closes the month of January on the road, traveling to Lewisburg, Pa., on Jan. 30 for its second matchup against Bucknell.
Army begins February at home, welcoming the American University Eagles to Christl Arena for the first meeting between the two teams on Feb. 3.
The Black Knights stay in West Point on Feb. 6 to take on the Boston University Terriers before heading back on the road.
Army travels to Easton, Pa., on Feb. 10 for its second matchup of the season against Lafayette.
The Black Knights return to Christl Arena on Feb. 13, hosting Colgate in the final regular-season meeting between the two programs.
Army then begins a challenging two-game road stretch, starting with a trip to Washington, D.C., on Feb. 17 for the regular-season rematch against American.
Three days later, the Black Knights head to Annapolis, Md., on Feb. 20 for their second rivalry matchup of the season against Navy, with the game being tabbed as the annual Star Game, part of the Star Series presented by USAA.
Army returns to West Point for its final home game of the regular season on Feb. 24, welcoming Loyola Maryland to Christl Arena.
The Black Knights close out their Patriot League regular-season slate on the road, traveling to Boston on Feb. 27 for their second matchup of the season against Boston U.
The 2027 Patriot League Tournament will begin with the first round on March 2, followed by the quarterfinals on March 4 and the semifinals on March 7. The Patriot League Championship is scheduled for March 10.
