- 2020-21 EIWA Academic Achievement Award
2020-21: Amassed a 3-4 record as a true freshman … competed at both 174 and 165 pounds … posted a split, 1-1 record at 174 and a 2-3 mark at 165 … picked up both his first collegiate win and first bonus point victory via fall against Hofstra’s James Watterson (1:18) … competed at 165 pounds at the EIWA Championship, finishing sixth among the field … picked up wins over Ryan Ferro of LIU (DEC, 5-4) and Brevin Cassella of Binghamton (SV-1, 4-2) during his run … was one of four Black Knights to receive the EIWA Academic Achievement Award at the end of the season.
Prior to West Point: Graduated from Garrett High School in Garrett, Ind. ... was a 2x captain, 2x State runner-up, 4x All-Conference selection, 2x prep of the year and a Fargo (Cadet 6th) All-American ... played football in addition to wrestling ... finished 7th overall in his class ... his father was a wrestling coach and him and his brother both won Freestyle State on the same day ... majoring in Life Sciences ...
