Golf Sits Ninth After Day One in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas – The Army West Point golf team sits tied for ninth place after day one of the Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational, hosted by UTEP.

The Black Knights tallied an 18-hole team score of 300, with Peter Kim (T-24th) shooting an individual mark of even-par 72.

Matt Plunkett fired off a two-over-par 74, while Justin Pagila recorded a four-over-par 76.
UTEP leads after the first day with a team scorer of 11-under-par.

The Black Knights will tee off between 8:57-9:43 a.m. CT tomorrow morning.
