Women’s Rugby Brings in Top-Ranked Penn State

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's rugby team returns home with its hands full as top-ranked Penn State comes to the Anderson Rugby Complex on Saturday for a noon kickoff.
This is the second all-time meeting between the Black Knights and Nittany Lions after Penn State came away with a 34-21 victory at University Park, Pa., last season.

ARMY (2-3, 2-3 NIRA)
• Army returns home looking to right the ship after falling below .500 for the first time this season following back-to-back road losses.
• Junior Becca Stipp holds the team-lead in points (37), conversions (six) and is tied for the most tries (five).
• The Black Knights have held a lead in each of their matches except Central Washington.
PENN STATE (3-1-1, 3-0 Big Ten)
• The Nittany Lions are 0-1-1 in non-conference matchups this season.
• They are coming off their first draw of the season after a 10-10 finish against Life University on Oct. 1.
• Penn State's largest win of the season came against Big Ten rival, Michigan, 128-0.
