No. 11 Men’s Rugby to Close Regular Season at Navy

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's rugby team will conclude its regular season of 15's action on Saturday as the team travels to Annapolis, Md., to face its service academy rival Navy at noon.

STORYLINES
The Black Knights are coming off a split in Utah as they fell to BYU, but bounced back in the second half to upset the fifth-ranked Utes two days later.
Junior wing Luke Heun is the team's leading scorer in the three games this spring with four tries. Peter Basnight has three tries in as many games while Jacob Banarhall and Jake Lachina have touched down twice each.
THE ARMY-NAVY SERIES
In the only meeting in the series' young history since becoming a varsity sport in the fall of 2014, Army defeated Navy 41-21. After team captain Collum Magee touched down for the only points of the first half, the scoring opened in the final 40 minutes with the Black Knights pushing ahead thanks to a trio of tries by Jacob Banarhall.

The Black Knights will begin their postseason by hosting the round of 16 match of the Penn Mutual Varsity Cup on Saturday, April 9, at 3 p.m. against the Sooners of Oklahoma.
