Women’s Rugby Set for Final Road Tournament

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's rugby team concludes its four-week long road trip with the Bowdoin 7s tournament on Saturday.
Throughout the spring, Army has progressed through its first three tournaments. After placing fifth at Quinnipiac, the team finished fell in the semifinals at Brown to AIC. The Yellow Jackets once again had the Black Knights' number last weekend, knocking them out in the championship match.
The Black Knights boast an 8-6-1 record through the spring 7s season with senior Lindy Clark and sophomore Sydney DeWees leading the offensive attack. Clark has scored a team-high 51 points, while DeWees has recorded eight tries for 40 points.
This will be the final road tournament for Army in the 2016 season with the championship tournament being held on Saturday, April 30, at Anderson Rugby Complex.
