Army West Point Returns to CRCs

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's rugby team will make its first appearance at the Collegiate Rugby Championships since joining the Army Athletic Association in the fall of 2014 on June 4-5 from Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa.

The Black Knights last appeared in the CRCs in 2012 and placed second at the 2011 tournament. This season, Army compiled a 9-5 record in 15s play while making a run to the Penn Mutual Varsity Cup quarterfinals.

Army will compete in Pool C along with Arizona, St. Joe's and Navy with pool play being on Saturday. The Black Knights will face Arizona at 10 a.m. before their contest with the Hawks at 12: 40 p.m. Their final match in pool play is against the Midshipmen at 5:33 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBC.
