Women's XC Headed to Paul Short Invitational
September 30, 2016 | Women's Cross Country
West Point, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's cross country team is back in action this Saturday at the Paul Short Invitational.
The meet will take place at Lehigh's Murray H. Goodman Campus in Bethlehem, Pa.
"The Paul Short meet at Lehigh on Saturday, will be a great test for our women's team," commented Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Mike Smith. "We are one of 43 teams in the gold race which also features two teams ranked in the NCAA top 30 (Georgetown #19 and Penn #22). We have a very young women's team with probably five freshmen in our top seven so this will be a new experience for them and a good measuring stick to see how we compare to the teams in our region and the Patriot League."Â
