Army Prepares for Weekend Doubleheader on the Road

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point wrestling team will continue its eight-match road swing with duals at Hofstra and Binghamton Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Both duals are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

ARMY (4-3, 2-1 EIWA)
• The Black Knights are riding a three-match winning streak after defeating EIWA foe Penn, 18-14, in Philadelphia on Sunday.
• Army is 7-12-1 all-time against Hofstra and 7-2 against Binghamton.
• The Cadets have won the last two meetings against the Bearcats.
• Junior Jack Wedholm (22) and freshman Cael McCormick (20) are the first two Cadets this season to eclipse the 20-win plateau.
• Senior 184-pounder Samson Imonode holds the best record on the team in duals at 6-1.

• Hofstra is coming off a 1-1 showing at the Clarion Duals on Sunday. The Pride started with a 42-0 win over West Liberty before dropping a 28-5 decision against the host, Clarion.
• The Pride have already reached their win total (five) from each of the past two seasons since head coach Dennis Papadatos took the reins.
• Sage Heller leads the Pride with a 21-9 record.
• Red-shirt sophomore Nezar Haddad holds the team's best record in duals at 7-2.
