COACHES CORNER
- Head coach Kevin Ward – "They have a very good team and do a great job, but I don't think that was our best effort tonight. We made a couple of their wins look really easy and you can't do that and expect to win dual meets. We have some guys out of the lineup, and our youth showed at some of the weights where we were missing our starters."
- "It was good to see Jack Wedholm step in and get the win. He's been solid for us for a couple of years now and for him to come out and get a win on the road as the starter was good to see."
- "As far as Sunday is concerned, we just have to be more mentally prepared to fight. We can't make matches easy on our opponents. It was disappointing to see us give up bonus points. We need to get back to wrestling our style on Sunday, and that means competing to win every position."
UP NEXT
- The Black Knights return to West Point on Sunday for a 2 p.m., dual against the Bison of Bucknell.
